No serious injuries from pickup, car crash in Beatrice

BEATRICE – Beatrice Police and Beatrice Fire and Rescue members were called to a two-vehicle accident next to the Gage County Courthouse, Monday night.  

A car and a pickup collided at the intersection of 6th and Grant, just before 6:30 p.m.  Initial reports through Southeast Communications stated that up to three people may have been injured…..a female in her 50s….a male in his late 20s and a female in her mid-30s.

Two ambulances were sent to the scene, along with a fire truck and police units.

The collision activated airbags in the car involved. A Beatrice Fire and Rescue department member says no one required transport to the hospital, for further treatment.  Traffic continued to flow through the area following the collision.

Information on how the accident happened was not immediately available.
