Five bridges in Nebraska tapped for NDOT funding
Funding assistance comes from a program for off-system structures

Bridge funding projects announced
BEATRICE - The Nebraska Department of Transportation Local Assistance Division has announced that five Nebraska bridge projects will be eligible for funding through the Off-System Local Bridge Replacement (BRO) Program.
Project selections are based on detailed inspection data and structural assessments to determine where the most critical needs are.
The five rural bridge projects selected are:
- Greeley County (Cedar River, 3 miles N, 7 miles W of Spalding)
- Pawnee County (Turkey Creek, .2 miles N, 1.7 miles W of Pawnee City)
- Richardson County (Goolsby Creek)
- Polk County (South Channel of the Platte River)
- The Village of Dunbar (over the Little Nemaha River)
The BRO Program benefits rural communities, and focuses on protecting, preserving, rehabilitating and replacing crucial off-system bridges.
