JEFFERSON COUNTY, Neb. -- One individual has been taken into custody in connection to the burglary at the Road Runner Bar and Grill in Daykin that occurred back on Feb. 10, according to Sheriff Nick Georgi.

The Road Runner Bar and Grill in Daykin was broken into back in early February, where a vendor's gaming machines and money inside the machines were stolen.

After a lengthy investigation, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department said they have been able to identify three suspects in connection to the burglary.

On March 15, deputies obtained three arrest warrants on the individuals believed to have been connected to the burglary.

The warrants were for 49-year-old male Steven Cordis, 25-year-old male Austin Cordis and 35-year-old female Britni Grant-Fry, all of Arkansas. Steven and Austin Cordis both have ties and previously lived in southeast Nebraska.

On the morning of March 15, with the assistance of the Belle Vista Police Department, they were able to execute a search warrant on their residence and locate Steven Cordis, who was taken into custody.

An extradition hearing was held in Arkansas and Steven Cordis has been extradited back to Nebraska and is in custody at the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.

Austin Cordis and Grant-Fry were not at the residence at the time of the search warrant and are still wanted and at large at this time. The warrants will remain active for them and numerous agencies are attempting to locate them to take them into custody.

The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office asks residents to contact them if anyone has information on the whereabouts of Austin Cordis and Britni Grant-Fry.
