LINCOLN, Neb. -- One of the biggest offseason additions to the Nebraska Athletic Department will not be suiting up for the rest of the season.

Jordy Bahl, who transferred into the Husker softball program shortly after winning her second straight National Championship at Oklahoma, has been ruled out for the rest of the year due to a torn ACL.

That's according to the Nebraska Athletic Department.

The Papillion-La Vista grad appeared in one game this season, suffering the injury in the Huskers' season-opening loss to Washington.

Bahl will apply for a medical hardship.

If she receives it, she would have two more years of eligibility remaining.

Nebraska is two-and-two on the season.
