Bicyclist in critical condition following accident in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities are investigating a vehicle vs. bicycle accident that happened Thursday morning in Lincoln. 

The Lincoln Police Department said that the 37-year-old bicyclist is in critical but stable condition. 

LPD reported that around 1:45 a.m., Thursday, a 60-year-old driver of a pick up truck said he was driving west on W O St. with a green light. 

The man reportedly told LPD that the bicyclist had crossed when he wasn't supposed to. 

There are no citations have been issued at this time. 

This is an ongoing investigation.
