BEATRICE - At midday, the snow still quite hasn't let up in southeast Nebraska.

As of 11 a.m. in Beatrice, snow readings were anywhere from 4-8 inches across the city. Seven inches were reported on the east side of town in the Hannibal Park area, meanwhile, five inches was measured on Court St. in downtown Beatrice.

Street crews continued to plow the main roadways in town with some beginning to make their way on to the side streets. Business owners and residents used their own personal vehicles such as All Terrain Vehicles and Utility Terrain Vehicles to plow areas right near their home or business.

The band of storms moving through the area has isolated snow totals higher and lower depending on location. Areas of Lincoln have reported upwards of 11 inches of snow by midday.
