Police search finds suspected drugs, paraphernalia

BEATRICE – Police officers called to a residence where a probation check was being conducted, arrested two suspects on alleged drug violations in Beatrice, Tuesday afternoon.

Police arrested the person on probation…..37-year-old Dawn M. Meyer and 52-year-old Anthony Campbell…..both on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

Nebraska State Probation requested police assistance in the search of a home, and police said found in the residence was a zipper case with a glass smoking device, that had suspected methamphetamine residue.

Within the case, police also discovered a folded paper receipt with a crystalline substance believed to be meth. Officers also found a brown rock of suspected meth and two prescription pills.

Authorities were summoned to the residence at around four p.m.
