LINCOLN - Nebraska Volleyball has yet to lose a match, or even a set in 2022, but they face their toughest test to date this Wednesday.

The Huskers travel to Omaha to take on #17 Creighton. John Cook, who is an undefeated 17-0 against CU, breaks down the Blue Jays.

"There two outside [hitters] are really solid. Norah Sis is having a great year. Keeley [Davis] has been around for awhile, I think their setter's really good, they've got a good libero," Cook said. "It's Creighton volleyball. They're very solid in everything that they do and that's why they've been so successful."

Senior Nicklin Hames may not be from Nebraska, but she understands the meaning of the in state battle, as does the entire group.

"You can just feel the vibes a little different," Hames said. "The energy, everyone's excited to get in the gym, everyone's smiling, excited to work and excited to head to Omaha."

Creighton enters the game ranked 17th to Nebraska's 2nd with a record of 5-1, their only loss coming to #16 Kentucky in four sets. They did beat a Top 25 team in USC just a day before that loss.

While the Devaney Center can get loud and packed for a Husker volleyball game, it only seats 8,000 compared to the triple deck monster that is the CHI Health Center, also known as the home of the Blue Jays. Kenzie Knuckles talked about what that difference may look like.

"Everyone's always like, 'there was 8,000 people at your game! Devaney was so loud!', but for me, I don't know why, like I can hear them, and feel them, but I get like tunnel vision," Knuckles said. "But I do think there's a difference between those big arenas and the smaller ones."

The match begins Wednesday at 5:00 pm.
