Beatrice officials approve roof contractor for public library

BEATRICE – The Beatrice Public Library will be getting a new roof.   Elected officials have selected a contractor for the job.

The Beatrice City Council approved the bid of Schoen’s Roofing of Beatrice, at a total of $133,949.  Four bids were received for the roof project on the library, located at 16th and Ella.

The highest bid checked in at some $164,000.
