Man arrested after allegedly threatening roommate with pocketknife

Authorities arrested a Lincoln man for terroristic threats Monday night.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities arrested a Lincoln man for terroristic threats Monday night. 

Lincoln Police Department said that around 6:00 p.m. on Monday officers responded to a weapons complaint in the 500 block of South 25th. 

Officials said that officers contacted a 51-year-old man who said that his roommate had allegedly threatened him with a pocketknife following an argument.

Authorities said that they identified the suspect as 37-year-old Matthew Stinson. 

LPD officers said they found Stinson walking in the area a few minutes later. 

Officials said that in his possession was the pocketknife described by the victim. 

Stinson was arrested for terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony. 

There were no injuries.
