LPD: Lincoln woman shot in the head; No current suspects

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Police are investigating a shooting which left a woman with a gunshot wound to the head.

Lincoln Police say officers were called to a home near 10th and New Hampshire Streets Tuesday afternoon when a resident there called to report someone had been shot.

Officers arrived to find a 60-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her head.

Two men who lived at the home, a 59-year-old man and a 54-year-old man, are being questioned. Police say it's unknown if one of those two men shot the woman.

Currently, no one is in custody, and no one has been arrested.

The victim was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing.
