Raiders End Knights' BBB Season

LCC falls to Mead, 59-25, in Subdist. C1-2

BRAINARD, NE - The Lourdes Central Catholic Knights were eliminated by the Mead Raiders in the Subdistrict C1-2 Boys Basketball Tournament, 59-25, on Tuesday, as heard on Otoe County Country. The Knights' season came to an end at 7-16, while Mead moved to 16-7 on the season. They'll take on East Butler in the title game Thursday.

LCC was down 13-8 after the first quarter before Mead shut out the Knights in the second frame to build a 29-8 lead at halftime. Sam Ebmeier led Lourdes with nine points. Mead got 15 from Derrick Seay & ten from Mason Reed.
