LINCOLN - The top-ranked Nebraska volleyball team continued its dominant season Thursday night, sweeping Illinois 25-11, 25-15, 25-14 in front of 8,559 fans at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

With the win, Nebraska improved to 23-0 overall and 13-0 in Big Ten play, earning its 14th consecutive sweep. The Huskers have now won 43 straight sets and hit .488 in the match - their highest hitting percentage since 2018 and the best against a Big Ten opponent in more than a decade.

Ten Huskers recorded at least one kill. Andi Jackson led the team with nine kills on nine swings, posting a perfect 1.000 hitting percentage. Virginia Adriano and Harper Murray each added eight kills, while Teraya Sigler had six.

Freshman libero Laney Choboy recorded a career-high 20 digs along with two aces and three assists. Setter Bergen Reilly finished with 29 assists, seven digs and five blocks.

Nebraska dominated statistically, finishing with advantages in kills (49-25), blocks (7-5) and digs (40-24). The Huskers also hit over .300 for the 14th consecutive match, extending a school record in the rally-scoring era.

The Huskers controlled all three sets, racing out to an early 5-0 lead in the opener and never looking back. They hit .714 in the first set with 20 kills and no errors, setting the tone for another efficient performance.

Nebraska returns to action Saturday with a 2:30 p.m. matchup at No. 22 Minnesota.
