LINCOLN, Neb. - Nebraska is focusing ahead after stumbling to now #18 Michigan 30-27 on Saturday.

The Huskers offensive line allowed seven sacks of Dylan Raiola, while Michigan's big plays in the ground game proved costly for the Big Red.

In meeting with the media Monday, Head Coach Matt Rhule says the Huskers are spending the bye week correcting the mistakes made against the Wolverines, particularly focusing on doing jobs correctly.

"That's not happening at a high enough level, so we're going to have to play better, we'll have to coach better, but I also don't want to minimize how good their [Michigan's] backs are" Rhule said. "I don't know if it needs to be a major overhaul, because we're doing sound things, but I think it's the right guys doing the right things and settling into who we are moving forward."

While it's easy to point to coming up empty on Nebraska's impressive opening drive, a missed field goal by Kyle Cunanan or the 16 play drive in the fourth quarter by Michigan, Rhule says Nebraska has to improve as an entire unit.

"We're dropping a guy in on a screen, go make the play, you win the game... That's not calling that one guy out, because there were about 50 of those plays," Rhule said. "We ran two screens on third down where their guy made the play. I hate saying it's this one group or this one guy, it's a bunch of guys."

On Monday, the Huskers also announced a 3:00 p.m. central time kick off for the Huskers Oct. 4 contest with Michigan State. The game will be broadcast on FS1.
