LINCOLN, Neb. - It's a game Husker nation has had circled for awhile.

The Huskers are set to host #21 Michigan this Saturday, looking for that coveted blue blood conference win. While the scenario may set up well for the Big Red, Nebraska will face dynamic five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood, who's legs are one of his biggest strengths, averaging eight yards per attempt this season.

Defensive coordinator John Butler knows the challenge that lies ahead.

"Quarterbacks who are able to move out of the pocket are always a bit of a concern," Butler said. "We saw that in week one, but we made our adjustments both philosophically and schematically... I think we'll be a little better prepared in that element, in terms of how we call the game."

But it's not just Underwood Nebraska has to be concerned with. Alabama transfer running back Justice Haynes is also averaging eight yards per attempt and has already found the end zone five times this season - as a team, 12 of Michigan's 14 total scores have come on the ground.

Defensive lineman Cameron Lenhardt says the Huskers have utilized several drills in practice to improve, after Cincinnati ran for over 200 yards.

"We've been cleaning up a lot since Cincinnati," Lenhardt said. "Having proper rush lanes, countering at the level of the quarterback, can't have two B-Gap rushers... There's a drill we've been working a lot this week."

Cincinnati quarterback Brendan Sorsby ran for 96 yards against the Huskers in week one.

Nebraska and Michigan kick off at 2:30 CT on Saturday.
