Agnes Mae Ullsperger, 91, of Beatrice, died Monday morning, March 31, 2025, at Beatrice Health and Rehab.  She was born on October 18, 1933, at Sterling, attended District #22 Sterling country school, and then St. Mary’s Parochial School.  On April 18, 1951, she married Leo Ullsperger at St. Mary’s Catholic Church and they lived and farmed north of Sterling until 1967 when they moved to Beatrice.  She was employed at Campbell Soup Company of Tecumseh from 1959 until 1967, worked at Dempsters in Beatrice for over 30 years where she was the working foreman for 20 years, and then became a para-educator at Beatrice Public School in 1999.  She was a former member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of St. Mary and St. Martin’s Catholic Church of Douglas.  She has been a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Beatrice for over 57 years where she was a member of Circle #2 of the Altar Society.  Agnes enjoyed camping, playing cards, sewing, doing crossword puzzles, and being active in the Jay Husker Auto Club.

Survivors include her son, Harlan Ullsperger of Beatrice; daughter, Jackie (Kevin) Naber of Beatrice; three grandchildren, Jennifer (Rodney) Dillon, Jill Lottman, and Jamie (Charles) Brewer; ten great-grandchildren, Olivia and Layla Dillon, Ashlen, Eden, Madelyn, and Valerie Lottman, and Jada, Kiyah, AJ, and Kamran Brewer; nieces, nephews, and cousins.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo Ullsperger, who died on November 12, 2002; parents, Anton and Magdalen (Hupka) Kempkes; brothers, Norman (Joyce) Kempkes and Alfred (Rose) Kempkes; sisters, Bernadine (George) Wusk, Loretta (Earl) Miller, and Leona (Joe) Pella; parents-in-law, Louis and Mathilda Ullsperger; brother-in-law, Raymond (Beth) Ullsperger; sister-in-law, Marie (Herman) DeRoe.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M on Saturday, April 5, 2025  at St. Joseph Catholic Church of Beatrice with Father Leo Kosch, Celebrant.  Interment will be at the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery of Beatrice.  A scriptural rosary service will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday at the church prior to Mass. The body will lie in state on Friday from noon until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the family greeting relatives and friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.   In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family for future designation.   www.foxfuneralhome.net   Arrangements are entrusted to Fox Funeral Home & Cremation Services of Beatrice.
