Winter weather advisory, high wind warning issued as strong storm system approaches Nebraska

A strong storm system is expected to bring high winds, snow and rapidly dropping temperatures to the region Tuesday evening into Wednesday, creating hazardous travel conditions, according to the National Weather Service.
