Jacquelyn Sue "Jacque" Crosier

Jacquelyn Sue Crosier, affectionately known as Jacque, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2025, at the age of 70. Born on June 10, 1954, in Lincoln, Nebraska, Jacquelyn was a spirited soul whose love for life left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She married her husband, Joe Sr., on December 16, 1972, and together they made their home in Beatrice, Nebraska. She was a 1972 graduate of Beatrice High School and a graduate of Bryan Nursing Program as an RN in 1991. Jacque was a dedicated Registered Nurse in the Labor/Delivery and Surgery Departments at Beatrice Community Hospital, where she faithfully served until her retirement. Her dedication and care for her patients did not go unnoticed, earning her the honor of being voted Gage County Favorite Nurse in 2000.
Beyond her professional life, Jacque was a generous woman who cherished her family above all else. Her love for her granddaughter Jemma was a source of immense joy in her life. Her spirited nature and dedication to those she loved will be remembered by her husband Joe Sr., son Joe Jr., daughter-in-law Becky Crosier, and cherished granddaughter, Jemma Joan Crosier, and by one brother and one sister. She is preceded in death by her beloved daughter Jemma Crosier, her mother and step father Jody & Floyd Forke, father Edgar Sander, brother Jamie (Dana) Petty, and sister Jenifer Robinson, .
A public visitation will be held on Monday, February 10, 2025, from 9:00-1:30 at Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel, 708 North 6th Street, Beatrice, Nebraska, 68310. A Celebration of Life service will take place Monday at the same location at 1:30 PM. For those unable to attend in person, a live stream of the service will be available on her memory page at www.ghchapel.com. Inurnment will be in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
As Maya Angelou once said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Jacquelyn's generous spirit and dedication will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
