Timothy "Tim" E. Brown
Timothy “Tim” E. Brown, 63 years of age, of Blue Springs passed away Monday, December 16, 2024 at his home surrounded by family. He was born on April 24, 1961 in Nebraska City. Tim attended Beatrice High School and earned his GED. He married Elaine Rathman and they later divorced. Tim worked at BSDC and held numerous farming jobs including as a farm hand for Gayland and Marcia Regier. Years ago, Tim met his guardian angel as he was working for a drilling company and thought he heard someone call his name. At this point, he got off the drilling rig to go see and the rig fell 25 feet into a hole. This was a very important event in Tim’s life and was thankful for that angel. He married Hope McGinty on July 6, 1994. Years later, Tim and Hope operated the Ice Cream Truck in Beatrice with their children, Dillon and Dezirae. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, small engine work, grilling, coffee, Diet Pepsi and visiting with family and friends.
Tim is survived by his wife, Hope; daughters, Dezirae Brown of Blue Springs, Angela Suarez of Beatrice; sons, Dillon Brown of Blue Springs, Timothy M. Brown and significant other Shawna, Daniel Brown and wife Sherry, both of Beatrice, Jeramy Laflin of Lincoln; 14 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Donna Brown of Beatrice, Diane Patmore of Deshler; brothers, Wilbur Ray Brown Jr. and wife Leora of Jansen, Laurence Brown and wife Lisa, Charles Brown, both of Beatrice; sister-in-law, Margaret Brown of Beatrice; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilbur Ray Sr. and Blanche Ellen (Atkin) Brown; and brother, Rodney Brown.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, December 20, 2024 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Chaplain Sharon Schuster officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Home Cemetery in Beatrice. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice from noon to 8 PM with family greeting friends from 5 to 7 PM.
