Weather permitting, the road work will begin Monday, July 22, from reference post 151.03 to reference post 156.24, according to the Nebraska Department of Transportation.

Werner Construction of Hastings is the prime contractor for this project which will include concrete patching, culvert repair, placement of new asphalt roadway and shoulders, along with shoulder and seeding operations.

Traffic will be maintained with pilot cars and flaggers and a 12-foot width restriction will be in place.

Anticipated completion is Nov. 2024 but until then, NDOT reminds motorists to drive cautiously in and near work zones, to buckle up and to put phones down.
