Search warrant of Fairbury leads to arrest of two

FAIRBURY, Neb -- On Thursday evening, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office conducted a search warrant of a residence at 818 9th Street in Fairbury. Officers discovered multiple drugs inside the home including suspected THC wax, methamphetamine, marijuana, and a weapon.
Two occupants within the residence, 62-year-old Spencer Fentress of Fairbury, and 20-year-old Tyler Fruge of Fairbury, were both taken into custody and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
Fentress was booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school zone, possession of THC wax, methamphetamine, marijuana less than an ounce, and drug paraphernalia. Fentress was also charged with possession of a deadly weapon by a prohibited person.
Fruge was booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute within 1000 feet of a school zone, possession of methamphetamine, marijuana less than an ounce, and drug paraphernalia. Fruge was also charged with unlawful acts related to drugs.
According to Jefferson County Sheriff Nicholas Georgi, the case remains under investigation.
