BEATRICE – The Beatrice Community Hospital and Blue Valley Shrine Club will be teaming up for a special event this Saturday.

The BCH Women’s and Children’s Clinic is partnering with the Shrine Club and Shriner’s Hospitals for Children….offering free screenings for muscle, bone or joint problems.

Pediatrician Dr. Marilou Reyes will perform screenings which will help determine if a child would benefit from seeing a pediatric orthopedic specialist at the Shriners Children’s Hospital in Woodbury, Minnesota.  Transportation would be provided at no cost.

The free screening will be this Saturday, January 27th, from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m., at the Women and Children’s Clinic, inside BCH.  You can use entrance A at the clinic.

Walk-ins are welcome, but you can make an appointment by calling 402-228-3352.

Shriners Children’s Twin Cities is part of a larger network of facilities that  provide care for children under age 18….with orthopedic conditions….regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance coverage.
