Kevin James Pinkerton, 49 years of age, of Omaha passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. He was born on January 21, 1974 at the Mennonite Hospital in Beatrice to James and Dianne (Keefover) Pinkerton. Kevin graduated from Beatrice High School in 1992. In 1997, he earned a bachelor’s degree in Mechanized Agriculture from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where he was a member with the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity. Kevin married Tiffani Holtmeier on October 21, 2000 in Beatrice. He worked in technical support for Case IH in Wisconsin before currently working at Lindsay Corporation. Kevin was pivotal in the Omaha area in the sport of lacrosse where he spent countless hours volunteering, coaching, as a board member and as coach of the Millard North High School lacrosse teams. He was a talented artist who loved people, socializing, music of all kinds and especially watching his children in all their activities. 

Kevin is survived by his wife, Tiffani; children, Caden, Lucas and Riley Pinkerton; father, James Pinkerton and wife Judy Collins of Lincoln; mother, Dianne Pinkerton of Lincoln; mother-in-law, Barb Ebke and husband Rod of Harbine; brother, Chris Pinkerton and fiancée Jen Vrtiska of Beatrice; brother-in-law, Troy Holtmeier of Galveston, Texas; sister-in-law, Tori Holtmeier and significant other Jason Sheppard of Austin, Texas; nephews, Sebastian Holtmeier, Maddux Pinkerton, Holt Sheppard; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Jerry Holtmeier and wife Sharon.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice with Jon Palmquist officiating. There will be no visitation but a register book will be available to sign from 9 AM to 5 PM on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Harman-Wright Mortuary in Beatrice.
