JANSEN, Neb -- The special election was held yesterday to fill four new seats on the Jansen Village Board of Trustees.

It comes after back in May, four members of the board resigned leaving Janene Russell as the remaining board of trustee member, which meant it no longer had a quorum to conduct any further village business.

Unofficial results of the Special Election for the Jansen Village Board of Trustees are now available.

The four new members of the board are expected to be: Vern Niemand, Carol Ellis, Tony Eyer and Jared Russell. Final results will not be official until certified.
