GAGE COUNTY, Neb. -- Authorities in southeast Nebraska said they were investigating an accident, when another vehicle slid into the ditch not too far away. 

The Gage County Sheriff's Office said they were dispatched to an accident Thursday morning in the area of E Pickrell Road near S 120th Road. 

The Sheriff's Office said that as a deputy was investigating the accident another vehicle slid off the road into the ditch that was about 500 feet east of him. 

Authorities said the Gage County Highway Department was notified of the slick road conditions and Huls Towing was contacted for the vehicle accident.
