LPD: Sleeping man taken into custody for a loaded gun

LINCOLN, Neb. -- 25-year-old Tilian J. Tilian received a citation from the Lincoln Police Department after a call for a disturbance.
According to authorities, police were sent to the 3600 block of Baldwin for call of disturbance on July 10 at 12:46 a.m.
Officers said the caller told them an unknown man had been knocking on their door saying he crashed his car.
The report said the officers located an LES on N 35th that appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. The officers then followed a trail of visible fluid to a heavily damaged and disabled car parked on Baldwin.
According to authorities, Tilian was the found asleep in the driver's seat, woken up and taken into custody. Officers found a loaded 9mm handgun in the pocket of Tilian's gym short during a DUI investigation.
Officials said Tilian was later cited for DUI and lodged in jail for carrying a concealed weapon.
