FAIRBURY, NE — A house in Fairbury listed on the National Register of Historic Places is up for sale.
The John C. Kesterson house can be yours for just under $160,000. According to the listing, the house has four bedrooms, two bathrooms and sits on a lot that's over a half-acre in size.
It also includes a pool and hot tub and Morton type garage.
The Kestereson house lies just east of downtown Fairbury on 4th St. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2019. News Channel Nebraska toured the house that year.
It was built in 1879 by horse-breeder, freighter and businessman John C. Kesterson. A wing on the north side was added in 1885.
