Man finds vehicle engulfed in flames

Authorities say a man found his vehicle engulfed in flames in Lincoln.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- Authorities say a man found his vehicle engulfed in flames in Lincoln. 

The Lincoln Police Department said that around 5 a.m. Sunday, a 48-year-old man found his vehicle engulfed in flames in the are of NW 49th Street and W Gary Gately Street. 

Authorities said that surveillance cameras in the area showed two parties pour liquid on the hood of the vehicle, light it on fire, then leave.

Officials said the vehicle was heavily destroyed and damage is estimated at $10,000.
