Deadly motorcycle crash in south Lincoln

One person is dead after a motorcycle accident in Lincoln.

LINCOLN, Neb. -- One person is dead after a motorcycle accident in Lincoln. 

Lincoln Police said the accident happened near 70th and Old Cheney Road on Tuesday. 

Authorities said a northbound motorcyclist lost control, hit the curb and struck a fence. 

19-year-old William Shnakenberg was declared dead at the scene. 

Another rider was taken to a hospital with injuries. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
