FAIRBURY, NE — All community vaccine clinics in southeast Nebraska are on as scheduled despite recent concerns about the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.

Public Health Solutions covers Gage, Fillmore, Jefferson, Saline and Thayer counties. PHS says it exclusively uses the Moderna vaccine for its community clinics and the vast majority of all vaccinations given in the district.

The health department has community vaccine clinics scheduled for Thursday at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds, Thursday, April 22 at the Fillmore County Fairgrounds, and Thursday, April 29 at the Thayer County Fairgrounds. The clinics are open to all PHS-area residents 18 and older. People are encouraged to register online at vaccinate.ne.gov.

Thursday’s clinic in Fairbury runs from 12:00-6:30 p.m. See the above map for traffic instructions. Walk-in appointments are available from 2:00-4:00.
