Troxel, Forney reach top of the podium at state wrestling

Two Southern wrestlers are leaving Omaha with state championship medals.

OMAHA, Neb. - Two Southern wrestlers are leaving Omaha with state championship medals.

Wyatt Forney and Drake Troxel stood atop the podium Saturday evening as state champions.

Wyatt Forney recorded the win in the D113 division defeating Tristan Davis of Aquinas Catholic 11-5. Troxel won by decision 13-11 over Neligh-Oakdale's Cooper Arehart.
