New rules for electronic payments at NRD parks

TECUMSEH - The Nemaha NRD board swore in new members Adam Howard of Nebraska City and Klark Knipe of Auburn at its Feb. 12 meeting.

The board also revised rules and regulations for NRD parks to accommodate electronic payments for campsite fees and park permits.

Electrical campsite fees will increase from $16 to $20 per night. A registration fee of $5 is required for primitive camping effective April 1.

Directors are also accepting public testimony on proposed groundwater quantity management.
