First COVID-19 vaccine arrives in Nebraska

The first COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in Nebraska.

The first COVID-19 vaccines have arrived in Nebraska.

Officials with CHI Health in Omaha tell us that since yesterday they knew the vaccine could be coming at any time but weren't sure if it would be today or later.

It turned out to be today at CHI Bergan Mercy in Omaha.

At the moment its not clear when the first Nebraskan will be vaccinated or just who that individual is.

CHI's St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln and St. Francis in Grand Island are expected to receive their first doses of the vaccine tomorrow.
