On our latest Doane Football Coach Conversation, Jonathan Johnson, head coach of Doane University football, checks in with NCN's Tim Hackett about what's transpired with his Tigers team over the last two weeks.

Coach Johnson recaps his team's latest game against Dordt, including an assessment of his team's defense and an extended look at a number of players who were elevated into bigger roles. Doane had its first bye week of the season last week, which provided a welcome respite for some injured players and allowed the coaching staff to get out and meet many potential recruits. And this week, Doane turns its attention to Midland, and Coach Johnson breaks down what makes the Warriors one of the GPAC's most skilled offenses.

Doane makes a relatively short trip to Fremont, Nebraska to take on Midland this Saturday, September 27, with kickoff set for 1 PM CT. Those in Crete and across Southeast Nebraska can listen to the game on Ol' Red 99.5 FM, with a live broadcast also available online anywhere at olred995.com. You can also watch the game on the GPAC Network.
