Card payments to be accepted at Beatrice Public School games this year

BEATRICE, Neb. - A new, more modern way, of gaining entry to games is coming to Beatrice Public Schools.
During the Superintendent's report at Monday's Beatrice School board meeting, Superintendent Jason Alexander said the school will begin accepting credit cards at sporting events.
Alexander said the efforts have been spear-headed by new Activities Director Cale Kaiser, who's working with a company called Bound to get machines ready for the upcoming fall sports season.
"He [Kaiser] is working on it right now and getting it all in place," Alexander said. "Also looking at the middle school using this as well... It'll be a change, there may be some hurdles, as with any change... But it should make ticket taking easier and it should make our auditors happier."
Alexander said the new change will also be implemented to concessions, which will also begin accepting card payments.
