OMAHA, Neb. - Nebraska is one win away from becoming back to back Big Ten Tournament champions.

The Huskers knocked off Penn State 6-3 on Saturday night, thanks to shut down relief pitching and timely hitting. Beatrice native Tucker Timmerman would start the contest and go 3.1 innings before giving way to Drew Christo and Luke Broderick.

The senior duo pitched a combined shutout after entering the contest in the top of the fourth.

The hero of the day for the Husker offense was Gabe Swansen who homered twice on Saturday, with two-run blasts against Oregon and Penn State.

Nebraska takes on UCLA at 2:00 p.m. CT on Sunday, a team who swept the Big Red earlier this season.
