Johnny W. “John” Carel, 61, of Beatrice, died Friday morning, May 2, 2025, at his home. He was born on March 18, 1964, in Beatrice.
Survivors include his wife, Teresa Carel of Beatrice; his children, Johnny Cary-Carel and fiancé, Tabitha, Melinda Cary-Carel, and Case Carel; two grandchildren, Emily and Leah; siblings, Eric (Lori) Carel, Angie (Scott) Miller, Annabell Carel and Billy Kyonggon Kim, Tony (Michelle) Carel, and James Carel; step-mother, Sally Anne Carel; brother-in-law, Craig (Teresa) Bair; uncles, David (Ciana) Carel, Kenny (Linda) Johnson and Gale Carel; nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer; mother, Karen; grandparents, Velmer and Mary Johnson, Elmer and Clara Johnson, and Elmer and Rose Carel.
Cremation has taken place. Celebration of John’s life will be on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in John’s garage, 1520 Lincoln St, Beatrice, beginning at 3:00 P.M. with a motorcycle ride, “Big Bird” drive, and then food and fellowship.
