Lloyd Fay Warren, affectionately known as Dode, born June 13, 1943 in Oketo, Kansas, passed away on April 15, 2025, having spent the majority of his life in Beatrice, Nebraska. Known for being a dedicated, reliable, supportive, and thoughtful man. He was a devoted husband to Judy Warren, whom he married on August 28, 1982, and together they created a life filled with love and shared interests. Lloyd was a member of Centenary United Methodist Church and held various roles in clubs and organizations including the Wild Turkey Federation, Beatrice Gun Club, and the former YRI board of directors. He was also a proud FFL Dealer since 1980.

Dode spent his professional career as an Operations Manager for Beatrice Concrete and Beatrice Sand & Gravel, before retiring from Behrens Construction. Even in retirement, he could not stay idle and lent his expertise to Nebraska Game and Parks. His dedication and reliability were not confined to his work but extended to all areas of his life, most importantly his family. Lloyd took immense joy in attending his grandchildren's events and family gatherings, always the supportive and thoughtful grandfather.

Outside of work, Lloyd was an avid outdoorsman. He cherished hunting deer and turkey, trapping, and camping. As a testament to his supportive nature, he also took pleasure in mentoring youth to hunting. Dode was a keen gardener, finding tranquility and satisfaction in tending to his plants. Lloyd's love for nature and his commitment to nurturing the next generation are evident in his hobbies and the legacy he leaves behind.

Lloyd is preceded in death by his parents, James and Maxine Warren, son Jason Warren, brother Floyd (Lynn) Warren, great nephew Mason Tiedgen, and in laws Gene and Ella Mae Mason, and Stan Maske.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy Warren, his children Lloyd Warren Jr., Tobby (Tammy) Warren, and James (Japhia) Warren, grandchildren Kamdyn, Kypton & Keagan Warren, Gage & Travis & Marisa Warren, Brian Chapman & Miranda Chapman, Ashley (Adrian) Otero, Corey (Brittany) Warren, Patrick (Mary) Heffley, Haley (Justin) Vargas, Samantha (Dennis) Leonard, Marisa (Kenny) Hereguth, Kacie (Carlo) Dimarco, Andrew, Matthew & MaKenna Retzlaff, Taylor & Jairah Warren, 18 great grandchildren, and other extended family members, and by his beloved pet Rusty.

A public visitation will be held on Sunday, April 20, 2025 from 2:00-8:00 PM at Griffiths-Hovendick Chapel, 708 North 6th Street, Beatrice, Nebraska, with the family greeting friends later from 5:00-7:00 PM. The family prayer service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 10:45 AM at Centenary United Methodist Church in Beatrice, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM. The service will be Livestreamed by the church. Burial will be at the Vesta Cemetery following a lunch served at the church. A memorial has been established to the family's choice for future designation with the funeral home in charge.
