Proposed amendment would give Nebraska voters choice to totally eliminate inheritance tax

Nebraska remains one of just five states that inflicts a tax on relatives of the recently deceased. And this month, the state legislature considered a constitutional amendment that would eliminate the inheritance tax altogether.
