Adams man killed in pickup rollover

Authorities say a pickup struck a bridge railing and rolled over

BEATRICE – Gage County Sheriff’s Deputies report a fatal accident that happened Saturday, near Adams.

Deputies were sent to South 176th and Cherry Road, where a vehicle had rolled over.  Deputies found the driver dead, from the one-vehicle mishap. 

He was identified as 42-year-old Jeremy Othmer, of Adams.  He was driving a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup southbound….on South 176th Road when the pickup hit a bridge railing, causing it to roll over several times. 

Othmer, who was using a seatbelt, was alone in the truck.   Adams Rescue assisted at the accident scene.  Sheriff’s deputies said neither alcohol or drugs were a factor in the accident.
