LINCOLN, Neb. - The broadcast booth that Greg Sharpe calls home during every Husker Football home game has been named in his honor.

In a video released by Nebraska Football, Sharpe was brought to the booth Wednesday afternoon by Athletic Director Troy Dannen and his staff. Sharpe was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in April of last year, but still called a number Husker games this past season.

The booth also displays the quotation of Sharpe's iconic call of Jordan Westerkamp's hail mary grab against Northwestern in 2013.

"What this university and Troy, his staff have done for me the past six months, I can't tell you how thankful I am to be here," Sharpe said.
