Offensive – Mak Hatcliff, Doane University (Guard)

Mak Hatcliff of Doane University is this week's GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports women's basketball offensive player-of-the-week.  Hatcliff, a senior from Beatrice, Nebraska, helped the Tigers to a pair of wins on the week including a victory over NAIA No. 11 Dakota Wesleyan. She averaged a double-double on the week with 27.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. She played a key role in Doane's two big runs in the upset of Dakota Wesleyan, a 12-2 run to end the first half and a 13-0 run to start the fourth quarter, scoring seven points in each of the runs.

This is not the first ever weekly honor for the Tiger standout, but it is her first of this season. Doane women's basketball is now 3-0 to begin the 2024 season following those two wins; the Tigers return to action with a road game against Morningside this Saturday at 2 PM.
