Ceyair Wright, Brian Buschini earn Blackshirts during Nebraska bye week

LINCOLN, NEB. - Nebraska Football Head Coach Matt Rhule announced two new Blackshirts on Monday morning.
Defensive back Ceyair Wright and punter Brian Buschini have been given Blackshirts ahead of this weekend's tilt with #18 Indiana.
While many see a Blackshirt as a high honor for the defense, after some clutch punts against Rutgers, a pass completion, and some big time tackles, the Husker defense urged Rhule to pass a Blackshirt to Buschini, the Husker punter.
"When Marques Buford texts me at home, I think that's a tremendous message," Rhule said. "Whether it was the tackles at Purdue, game saving tackles on field goals, the punts last week - and the hits he took, some guys get hurt and just try to finish the game, but he accelerated. I did it because of the players."
Ceyair Wright, a USC transfer, has taken over starting cornerback duties in the absence of Tommi Hill (foot) and has since recorded 16 tackles. Wright was targeted nine time against Rutgers, allowing just 18 yards, and recorded an interception of Athan Kaliakmanis.
Nebraska takes on the 18th ranked Hoosiers at 11:00 a.m. CT Saturday on FOX.
