Mak Hatcliff jersey sent to Women's Basketball Hall of Fame

A bit of southeast Nebraska lore will be on display at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, TN.

CRETE, NEB. - A bit of southeast Nebraska lore will be on display at the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame in Knoxville, TN.

Doane Tiger Mak Hatcliff's #23 jersey was sent to the Hall of Fame, per a video posted on X by Doane Women's Basketball. 

Hatcliff, a Beatrice native, and returning all-american, reached 2,000 career points last season, while also setting a new record for scoring in GPAC women's basketball in the same game. Hatcliff was also the 2024 GPAC player of the year. 

Doane women's basketball begins their season taking on Nebraska on Oct. 27 in an exhibition matchup, before kicking off season play hosting Peru State on Nov. 6.
