Larry was a devoted father to his five children: Deidra (spouse, Rusty Hodges), Shawn, Krystal McAlevy, and John "Andy" (spouse Savannah). He also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren; sisters, Joanna Cooper, Carolyn Marples, Alice Bryan and Amanda Martinez and their families.
