Beatrice water crews working on Herbert Street leak

BEATRICE – Beatrice water department crews have been working at a northwest city location where a water leak developed. 

It happened in the 900 Block of Herbert Street and the amount of water leaking from a pipe caused part of the street to collapse.  Herbert Street was closed to all through-traffic.

Repairs were expected to keep the street closed for at least a week.
