CRETE, Neb. --Authorities said six victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries, and the suspect was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound after a shooting in Crete.

The Nebraska State Patrol confirmed in a press conference that three adults and three children were the victims in the shooting. They are expected to survive.

The suspect was found dead inside his home, and officers located a shotgun inside during their investigation.

NSP said they will remain on the scene investigating as long as necessary.
