Fairbury bringing in mobile breakfast and bakery, food truck, from Hastings
Fairbury will welcome Hastings’ own Conchita’s Mobile Breakfast and Bakery this weekend.
FAIRBURY, Neb. -- Fairbury will welcome Hastings’ own Conchita’s Mobile Breakfast and Bakery this weekend.
The food truck, which was launched in Hastings, will set up shop at the Grayhouse Inn and will offer breakfast food, along with tacos, burritos and many other items.
Dakota and Zachary Howe own the Grayhouse Inn. They love being able to continuously offer different food options to the community, with this being the tenth food truck to stop by in four years at the establishment..
“We just love being able to offer other options for the community,” said Dakota Howe. “We know there is always a concern of lack of restaurants in the town so being able to bring out some more variety and giving business to other small businesses is a great opportunity.”
Other food trucks that have visited before have sold out, due to community support.
They expect this one to do the same.
“In the past times, with previous trucks, we have had sellouts numerous times for them and it keeps letting them come back and, also, helps provide to our area,” said Zachary Howe.
But how does a food truck provide for the area?
Zachary Howe says the food trucks restock, through local businesses.
“So the money is staying local as well as going to small businesses,” said Zachary Howe.
The food truck will be in town from June 30 to July 4, and will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. every day except July 1.
Times are subject to change.
