Search of Odell home nets two arrests

Authorities also seize drugs and paraphernalia

BEATRICE – Gage County Sheriff’s officers have arrested a man in Odell, who was wanted on two felony warrants. 

Friday at around 5:05 a.m., Gage County deputies served a search warrant at a Perry Street home in the southwestern Gage County town.  They were trying to locate 37-year-old Michael D. Louis. 

Upon entry, officers located Louis and he was taken into custody without incident. Authorities also found two baggies of suspected methamphetamine, along with meth pipes and prescription pills.  Louis was arrested for the warrants and for possession of a controlled substance.

Another person in the home….44-year-old Amanda Hormann, of Odell, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of possession of a controlled substance and for being an accessory to a felony, for harboring a fugitive.

Both Louis and Hormann were taken to the Gage County Jail.
