FAIRBURY, Neb. -- Fairbury is continuing to work on its roads following harsh weather during the winter months.

Winter storms in January caused ice to create potholes in the roads around the town, making it more difficult for vehicles to avoid them.

The city said it has recently performed regular street maintenance at 3rd and E Street, along with a few other roads.

Planning and Zoning Department Manager Laura Bedlan said the city will continue with regular maintenance throughout the summer.
